The Polar caves

The Polar caves were formed nearly fifty thousand years ago as the third continental glacier moved southward over New Hampshire's White Mountains. As the ice sheet thawed, great blocks of granite cracked and loosened from Mt. Haycock.
These massive granite boulders fell at the base of Hawk's Cliff forming an amazing series of caves and passage ways through which you can walk.
